Marketing Assistant                 

The purpose of the role is to support the business in a marketing function, assisting with website development, photography and building a brand


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively maintain and manage social media feeds
  • Assist with marketing campaigns in print and digital format
  • Develop a brand presence for the company
  • Photograph broad product selection along with maintaining online product catalogue info
  • Co-ordinate, attend and manage exhibition events with relevant Area Managers


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Desktop Publishing)
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and supporting colleagues to meet deadlines
  • Possess a creative flair combined with commercial awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Have an understanding and interest in communications and social media
  • Ideally a knowledge of Google Analytics


  • Manage twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram feeds
  • Photograph each product in catalogue and publish on website
  • Manage website, develop blog and relevant news pieces
  • Analyse website statistics, hit rate, page views etc
  • Assist in sales campaigns by producing relevant marketing material focused on core product range
  • Assist with new product release information and help design new brochure content
  • Assist with exhibition set up, presentation and visual appearance of the company brand
  • Identify new areas for marketing development, new channels for advertisement
  • Work with product design team and packaging team in developing brand focus
  • Assist with yearly marketing strategy, identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies
  • Produce reports for Senior Management in relation to success of campaigns
  • Salary region 18K plus OTE
