Outbound Sales Representative

If you enjoy working in a small sales team and have a good customer service background, this role could be for you.  The team is responsible for the following activities:

Making outbound sales calls to existing and lapsed policyholders

Achievement of monthly sales targets

Collection of customer payments

Data handling

Issue of documentation

Regulatory compliance

Provision of required management information

General administration

Duties:

You will be responsible for telephoning existing customers to renew their policy in order to increase retention rates.  You will be required to achieve monthly sales targets and follow a compliant sales script.

Keep customer records accurate and up to date.  Capture all necessary customer information and management information directed by your line manager.

Skills and knowledge:

Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence purchasing decisions

A strong ability to communicate and convince

Self-motivated with a determination to succeed

The ability to tailor sales approach based on conversation

Ambition to develop the role

Motivate and support other team members

Well organised and flexible

A good level of literacy and numeracy
