SALES AND MARKETING ASSISTANT

Are you an excellent communicator? My client, based in West Leeds, is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking for a career in Sales and Marketing.

The key roles are:

SALES
Generation and maintenance of Sales lists and contacts in specific markets.
Obtaining new contacts, new companies (internet/Linkedin etc) as well as continued drip feed of information to key Database
Creating and sending agreed Mailshots to client base
Partial telesales to obtain contacts and follow up leads and interest or arrange appointments for Sales.
Responsible for sending out required samples and brochures / letters from interested parties.
Analysis of Sales – Figures and activity by Customer / Market / Salesman
Keeping abreast with developments of Competition
Leading Innovation teams regarding trials to samples for Sales / Keeping abreast of innovations from suppliers

MARKETING
To spearhead increasing the company profile within the industry
Maintenance and improvement of website and various social media
Maintenance and overseeing creation of any new brochures and literature
Maintenance of Company Presentation.
Creation and responsibility for a quarterly newsletter
Ensuring our best samples are presented for various Industry awards
Responsibility for samples and presentation of Meeting room / Reception Products

ASSISTING SALES TEAM
Responsible for Boardroom presentation for Customer visits including Teas / Coffees and Buffets etc.
To aid the Sales Team and Account Managers with Pass on Press
Responsible for arranging cost effective travel and Hotels for Sales and Customers
An office based contact for Sales and also co-ordinating Sales Activity and fielding calls
General Sales administration
Estimating / Pricing / Upkeep of Material prices on Prism / submitting basic price tenders.
Ideally with clean driving license – Collection of Customers / dropping samples or project samples at local Customers/ YRG etc.
To create and oversee the literature and costs for trade shows and aid Sales Team at relevant show.

KEY ATTRIBUTES
Smart, presentable (will have direct involvement with Customers) easy going individual with very bubbly outgoing personality. Must be self-driven to achieve individual and company goals
Robust personality to keep contacting reluctant potentials
Ability to drive is a clear advantage
Wants to excel as part of a successful team

SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
