Outbound Sales Representative

Our client is seeking an Outbound Sales Representative:

The Outbound Sales Team is committed to maximising sales opportunities and retention of existing customers by providing a first class sales experience resulting in profitable, compliant sales and satisfied customers.

 

The team is responsible for the following activities:

 

  • Making outbound sales calls to existing and lapsed policyholders
  • Achievement of monthly sales targets
  • Collection of customer payments
  • Data handling
  • Issue of documentation
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Provision of required management information
  • All other administrative functions related to Outbound Sales

 

 

The Role of the Outbound Sales Representative

 

As an Outbound Sales Representative you will play a key role within the Outbound Sales Team. You will be responsible for increasing business retention by contacting existing customers and selling continuation of cover. You will work within the parameters of established procedures and will adhere to all regulatory requirements in particular ‘Treating Customers Fairly’. You will be able to demonstrate your competence through regular reviews and annual assessments.

 

Job Description for the Outbound Sales Representative

 

 

Outbound sales:

  • You will be responsible for telephoning existing customers to renew their policy in order to increase our retention rates. You will be required to achieve monthly sales targets and follow a compliant sales script.
Call handling:

  • The Company’s call answering targets and standards are set to ensure excellent customer service.   You must adhere to these targets at all times.
Quality Control:

  • You must ensure you complete your work in accordance with the quality standards and from time to time the quality of your work will be measured by your Line Manager. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and adherence to established processes and procedures.
Customer Administration:

  • You will ensure customer records are accurate and kept up to date. You will capture all necessary customer information and management information as directed by your Line Manager. You will carry out all other administrative functions related to telephone sales.
Provide a first class hassle free service to our customers:

  • You must deliver top quality service in all aspects of dealing with our customers and clients. This means any contact whatsoever during the lifetime of their relationship with the Company.
Adhere strictly to the Company’s policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF):

  • You are required to ensure that the FCA principle of TCF is fully understood and applied to all aspects of your dealings with customers.
Regulatory Compliance:

  • You must adhere to the strict regime of regulatory compliance in all aspects of your activities. You must remain competent for the duration of your sales role.
Conduct yourself in a manner which is visibly consistent with the Company’s Values:

  • The Company have an established set of company values and you are required to represent these in all aspects of your role.
Risk management:

  • You must be alert to possible corporate and operational risks and raise any identified risks with your line manager or the Risk & Compliance Manager.

 

 

Reporting to:  Outbound Sales Team Supervisor

The hours are alternate shifts: 9.30 a.m. – 6 pm. or 11.30 a.m. to 8 pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday

9 am – 3 pm

18K plus commission
