Business Development Manager

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to work in the automotive industry.  You will be required to look for new sales opportunities and arrange new schemes with new clients in the insurance sector.  You are also required to manage existing relationships with your allocated clients.  You should explore new market opportunities and look to establish new schemes that produce good volume and/or are seen as having the ability to do so.  The role carries a target which is based upon total income from the new schemes which you secure.

You will be required to:

Achieve agreed new business targets

Grow the income for your selected accounts

Assume account management responsibility for selected accounts

Liaise with the other sales staff

Prepare and present new business proposals for new accounts

Oversee the scheme implementation process

Review product pricing

Negotiate and renew new and existing contracts

Maintain the new business pipeline

Attend appropriate business seminars and conferences

Comply with all regulatory and legal requirements

Risk management

This role has a basic salary of 30K plus 4K car allowance and fuel allowance.  There is also a generous performance related bonus scheme in place.
